I have a crisis assignment, in which we have to write out our responses to a "crisis" that has unfolded over this week. The computer system has crashed in my company, and...
"at about 4:45 p.m. you get a call on your mobile from James Norrington, a reporter at the Daily Endeavour, the most important local newspaper. You know James from your CNM classes at NUS.
Norrington tells you that his paper is about to print with a story quoting two senior Black Pearl executives who said that Black Pearl’s computers and servers had been sabotaged by someone from inside the company.
Then Norrington tells you that as part of the investigation, the Singapore Stock Exchange had spoken to bankers and discovered that $200 million in company money is missing.
Norrington tells you the news will be on the Endeavour website within an hour."
What will you do? Write your answer in 2 paragraphs.
I will first address him by his first name, James, and ask him if he remembers the old times we spent at NUS, and subtly remind him of the nights we spent together. I will lower my voice to a husky timbre in order to send frissons of shivers down his spine (in a good way of course). Next I will ask him out for a tea break on the pretext of discussing the article, with the promise that I have insider news for him.
We will proceed to a nice hotel with high tea, and during the meeting I shall employ every trick in my hat to seduce him and make him forget about every negative detail he was planning to write.
